RED JACKETS FOR SALE WITH THE SMS LOGO AND YOUR STUDENTS FIRST OR LAST NAME EMBROIDERED ON THEM MUST BE ORDERED BY MAY 14TH TO BE RECIEVED IN TIME FOR THE TRIP TO BOSTON. FORMS WILL BE AVAIABLE AT THE MANDATORY MONDAY NIGHT MEETING ON MAY 12TH.

It is a busy month at SMS...the school play...field trips..concerts..and award ceremonies..definately something for everyone.

May 1...Celebration of Excellence...begins with the school play-ALADDIN JR. at 3pm in the MPR ..Battle of the Books championships

May1...Open House for incoming 7th graders at 5pm-6:30

May 2...ALADDIN JR. at 7pm

May 6th...Night of Appreciation for all PTO helpers from 7-8:30 at SNIS cafeteria

May 7..Jazz band and voices concert Cabaret style in the MPR at 7pm

MAY 12TH...PTO MEETING IN ROOM 101 AT 9AM

May 12th....mandatory parents meeting for those who have students going to Boston at the end of the month

May 16...8th grade band and Orchestra competition trip to Six Flags

May 21...Orchestra and choral concert at 7pm in the gym

May 22...Academic Awards night

May 29-31...7th grade trip to Boston

Looking for a Vice President along with a Publicity Chairman for next year. PLEASE consider helping out!!

Order forms will be sent home shortly for anyone interested in purchasing a SMS wind breaker for the Boston trip.
