NEWSLETTER:
The goal of the NES PTO is to ensure that your child has an academically and culturally enriching year. In addition to activities held during the school day, the NES PTO sponsors family fun nights. Please refer to the “Monthly Calendar.”
On Thursday, May 29th, all Northville Faculty and Staff will be treated like stars at the end of year Teacher/Staff Appreciation luncheon in the Activity Room. They were hand delivered flowers and invitations on National Teacher Appreciation Day, May 6th. If you are interested in helping with this special day, please contact Daniela Esposito at d_esposito@prodigy.net.
Field Day is coming up on Thursday, June 12th (rain date is Friday, June 13th). If you would like to volunteer, you may contact Gail Dawson at gmdawson2@yahoo.com.
The last day of school is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18th. The beginning of summer doesn’t mean the end of learning! Be sure to include material from a summer reading list and fun summer learning projects along with his/her bathing suit as you head to the pool or beach!
Our school store is in operation this year and is open the first Thursday of every month from 8:30-8:55 a.m. so that your child may purchase various school supplies and sundries.
Help someone soar...Be a mentor! NES is currently looking for volunteers for the Mentor Program. If you have some time to spare, please contact Joe Dragone, Guidance Counselor at Northville at 355-3713 or via e-mail at jdragone@newmilfordps.org.
We are participating in the Staples Recycling for Education program this year. Please save your printer and toner cartridges and bring them to the Main Office or to the PTO Office. We will receive money back from Staples which will directly support PTO activities and your student's special programs.
Please remember that our goal is to keep all of our events safe for everyone, and it is your responsibility to watch your children at all Northville School events.
We welcome volunteers and would be excited to see new faces at our meetings. Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month, and our next PTO meeting of the year is Thursday, June 5 at 9 a.m. in the PTO room. Children are welcome to attend!
