Throughout the school year, please keep in mind that our many fundraising events, including the Meadow Farms Fundraising, the Silent Auction, Bookfair, and collecting Boxtops for Education (btfe.com), will go directly into the PTO budget, subsequently benefitting your children here at Northville. Your support fuels the supplemental educational programs, field trips, activities and assemblies that your children will enjoy throughout the 2009-2010 school year. Following are some of the cultural and academic enrichments that our fundraisers have supported in the last year:
New reading and math games for the Excel program
Terramar Marine Biology Program
Field trip to the Institute for American Indian Studies
Field trip to plays at West Conn, including “Free to Be You and Me”
National Science League competition entrance fee
Field trip to the Maritime Aquarium
Field trip to the Sloane Stanly Museum
Field trip to maple syruping
Field trip to the CT capitol
New music program books
New books for our library
Literature week (with 3 author visits)
Cultural Art assemblies

Please note that NES is also participating in the Staples Recycling for Education program. For each used toner cartridge or printer cartridge you donate, the NES PTO will collect $3 from Staples to use toward student enrichment programs.
